This unique brush on wax finish varnish maintains the velvet smooth, chalky finish of your paint, whilst protecting it from scuffing and moisture. The dead flat finish maintains the look and feel of the chalky paint while the satin finish can be buffed to a traditional silky feel of wax.

application and advice

preparation
Using one part Chalk Paint Maker to two parts matt emulsion, thoroughly mix together. All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt or contaminants. Clean off any wax with white spirit. Prime bare metal and plastic.

application
Apply sparingly, brush out well using a good quality brush. Apply the first coat and allow to dry, then apply a second coat. For maximum protection of surfaces in working areas, eg worktops, apply two coats of satin and a top coat of clear dead flat finish.

caution
Always apply to a test area before starting work. Appearance may vary according to the colour and type of surface being varnished and the number of coats. Protect the finish from water and steam for five days after application.

Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.

Keep out of reach of children. Contact with eyes - wash immediately with warm water. Remove excess from tools andmixing vessels before washing in warm soapy water. Do not empty into drains or watercourses.
